Magmic Games strikes deal with In-Fusio to boost BlackBerry gaming
If you can stop checking your emails long enough to play one, that is

Magmic Games has agreed a deal with In-Fusio that will bring the latter's portfolio of titles to BlackBerry devices.
In addition, the agreement means Magmic will have the exclusive rights to develop and market future mobile games for BlackBerry devices from In-Fusio's game catalogue.
In tandem with this announcement, Magmic is set to launch the cumbersomely titled Golden Tee Golf Mobile Edge. The arcade version of the game is apparently the most successful coin-operated franchise in US history – a revelation that surprised us, we'll admit.
The mobile version is set to feature four courses adapted from the coin-op original, on which single- or two-player games can be played. Expect Quick Play, Putting Edge and Driving Edge game modes, as well as customizable golfers and replays.
Interestingly, the mobile game will also have a connectivity feature linking it to the Golden Tee's coin-op network, enabling you to check statistics, review contest histories and even locate Golden Tee machines in local areas.
As one of the first fruits of the deal, Golden Tee Golf Mobile Edge is set to make good use of the BlackBerry Curve and Pearl's trackball, which sounds like a good fit to us considering the arcade uses a similar control method.
Certainly, Magmic Games seems determined to give BlackBerry gaming a thorough push. As ever, we'll keep monitoring the situation for significant developments.
