Lighthouse Interactive signed up as PSP publisher

Could bring us a selection of RPG, adventure and strategy games

Netherlands-based games publisher Lighthouse Interactive has signed up with Sony America to publish games for PSP and PS2.

The company has previously created all sorts of PC titles – unfortunately none of which we're particularly familiar with. Last year it released Darkness Within (a PC horror/adventure game), first-person shooter Warpath and real-time strategy game SunAge. It also published Loco Mania, a PC train strategy game. Come on, don't yawn.

Anyway, it's not unreasonable to assume there could be PSP versions of some of these along this year but there could be new additions, too, with the publisher promising "innovative" titles. Not that we've ever come across a publisher claiming to bring generic games to market in these situations. Still, let's drop the cynicism, eh?

The publishing deal is currently for North America only, but Lighthouse has published PC titles worldwide so there's a chance it might branch out.
