Forget arguing about whether the freed British sailors should have sold their story to the papers or not. The real issue right now is what the government is going to do about slipping release dates of handheld games?

Because, frankly, it's an absolutely shameful situation.

Alas, we suspect Blair and co will feel they have got more pressing issues. And as such, we'll continue to play our weekly guessing game.

This week's releases (once we removed the trio of PSP titles we correctly announced seven days ago with some confidence that they wouldn't make it to shop shelves) seem solid – but then, generally, DS titles seem more able to keep to their expected retail slots than their PSP equivalent.

But the big question is what about next Friday? Will Diddy Kong Racing, Free Running and both versions of the promising Zendoku be released? If they are, perhaps one of them would like to sell their story to the tabloids so that we can finally discover what really goes on behind the scenes.
