Gongs for EA Mobile, Digital Chocolate and Terraplay at ME Awards
Prizes handed out at UK mobile industry event

Last night saw the great, good and incredibly sozzled of the mobile game industry gather in London for this year's Mobile Entertainment Awards. And several game companies went home happy, too.
EA Mobile scooped the prize for Best Games Publisher, capping an impressive year for the company.
Meanwhile, Digital Chocolate got Best Games Developer (despite being, er, a publisher), while connected gaming technology firm, Terraplay, got the Best Games Service Provider award.
Nokia bagged the gong for Best Handset Company, while 3 UK was crowned Best Operator.
On a more general note, all the big games publishers were well represented at the event, indicating the importance of mobile games to the wider industry.
