Ghostlight shines on PSP with World of Pool and Spin Out
Rolling balls seem to be the main focus

Emerging UK-based publisher Ghostlight is ramping up its handheld publishing, with two new PSP games joining the previously announced DS title, Glory Days 2, and DS/PSP sports sim, Decathletes.
A mixture of Marble Madness, WipEout and maybe even a hint of early PSP racer, GripShift, Spin Out sees you taking control of an Xorb, or racing sphere, which you have to guide around 50 tracks set across nine different environments in the fastest possible times.
Each course contains deadly obstacles, tight turns and rickety pathways, as well as the opportunity to gain power-ups and bonus items. Winning races also sees you rewarded with cash, which can be used to upgrade and customise your Xorb. You're also able to unlock extra tracks, game modes, new Xorbs, race classes and four-way multiplayer modes.
World of Pool, on the other hand, promises a rather more straightforward experience, as you overcome challengers on the green baize through games of pool, snooker and billiards.
Still, some fantastical elements have also been introduced as you have to counter the 'enemy powers' of other players, as well as having the opportunity to unleash special character-based moves.
The result is the opportunity to unlock hundreds of different items and hence decorate your 'crib' (we're assuming gangsta- rather than baby-related) in the manner that best suits your, no doubt, larger-than-life in-game personality.
Spin Out is released on September 28th, while World of Pool comes to the table on August 24th.
