Gamevil releases footy title Soccer Superstars 2012 and RPG sequel Illusia 2 on Android

Gamevil has bolstered Google Play's ever-swelling library of game with two new Android titles: Soccer Superstars 2012 and Illusia 2.

Latest signing

The most recent entry in Gamevil's larger-than-life football franchise continues to straddle the line between arcade football sim and management game, presenting both elements in an eye-catching anime style.

Taking its lead from 2010's Soccer Superstars, the game offers four different match types, a bevvy of team management options, and the ability to upgrade your players' skills over time.

Manage your team with care and you can unlock Super Players, then sit back and watch as you shoot up the global rankings toward sporting glory.

Quest fest

Alternatively, if you prefer swords to shinpads, then platform-focused RPG Illusia 2 might be just the thing to scratch your questing itch.

Swapping out the more traditional top-down gameplay for side-scrolling platform mechanics, this action-oriented retro title is less about exhaustive dungeon crawling, and more about slicing up anything that moves.

Once you've chosen your preferred class (Warrior, Magician, or Assassin), you must bring peace to the Dream World by journeying through four all-new worlds, levelling-up, improving your skills, and murderising with reckless abandon as you go.

Both Soccer Superstars 2012 [download] and Illusia 2 [download] are available for free on Google Play now.
