Gameloft may make boxed Wii games
Could be the next step on from WiiWare

Gameloft is considering whether to make boxed Wii games, following the success of its TV Show King and Block Breaker Deluxe games on the WiiWare service for Nintendo's console.
"On Wii, so far our focus is on electronic distribution, but there are some size limits on what we can do on WiiWare, so if we see that some of our games can make sense as bigger experiences, we might go to boxed," says senior VP of publishing Gonzague de Vallois, in an interview with PocketGamer.biz.
It wouldn't be Gameloft's first move into physical product, as the publisher has released games for PSP and DS, through a distributor.
However, Vallois is keen to stress that Gameloft's focus isn't drifting away from mobile games.
"What we know how to do is make good casual games for the mass-market, and deliver them electronically," he says. "That's pretty much the position today, but our core remains the mobile games market. It's 90 per cent of the business."
