It's that time of the day - time for us to reveal which of the thousands upon thousands of games available on mobile is today's recipient of our game of the day award. We've played it, we love it, and we hope you will too.

Gamer's of a certain age are definitely going to get a little misty eyed over today's selection - AG Drive - for reasons we'll spell out in a minute. What do you think of the game though? AG Drive

Wipeout defined the PlayStation generation for a lot of people - it was grown up gaming, cool and futuristic and unlike anything we'd seen before. Which is why AG Drive holds a special place in our hearts here at Pocket Gamer - it's like Wipeout in the palm of your hand.

You're piloting an anti-grav racer through a series of fiendish tracks, battling to be the first to cross the finish line. That's much easier said than done, but the balancing in the races is pretty much perfect - more often than not there's something riding on the last corner.

When we reviewed AG Drive we called it "a brash and brilliant futuristic arcade racer," adding that "AG Drive is everything you hoped it would be," and bestowing a Gold Award upon it for its troubles.
