Free iPhone games: Zenonia 3, Soccer Superstars 2011, Legends of Yore Full, and more

Today we have a rather excellent Zelda-alike action-RPG, an old skool pixel-art shooter, some zombie-killing goodness, and a bunch of overpaid footballers.

The Zelda-esque Zenonia 3 is the third instalment in the popular iOS action-RPG series. It sees you slaying over 200 varieties of enemy with the help of 184 weapons.

You can choose between four different character classes – Sword Knight, Shadow Hunter, Mechanic Launcher, Nature Shaman – complete over 136 quests, grab 48 Game Center achievements, and participate in asynchronous co-op multiplayer.

Blowing Pixels Planet Defender tasks you with protecting three threatened planets from waves of alien bombs, saucers, and asteroids, by blowing them to smithereens with powerful laser missiles.

You can play through two game modes – Campaign, Arcade – and three difficulty levels, collect power-ups and weapon upgrades, and climb leaderboards and snatch achievements thanks to Game Center integration.

Soccer Superstars 2011 (iPhone)

Soccer Superstars 2011 is a “full featured soccer game” that combines six different game modes - Exhibition, My League, Season, Cup, Dramatic, and Match Mode - 3,000 overpaid players, and 60 different club teams.

You can customise your players from head-to-toe with new names, physical features, and clothing, and you can put them to the test in rigorous training sessions.

Zombie Crisis 3: Killzone is a dual-stick shooter set in the fictional city of Perseus. Controlling dual characters, your mission is pump over 200 waves of undead monsters full of lead, using 25 powerful weapons.

There are four main scenarios to successfully survive and “especially magnificent” boss battles to overcome.

Robot Wants Kitty (iPhone)

Robot Wants Kitty sees you taking the reins of a small robot as you attempt, unsurprisingly, to snatch a pussy cat to play with.

Each of the game's platforming levels involve avoiding enemies, jumping over dangerous pits of sludge, collecting upgrades and abilities for your protective shell, and grabbing a poor feline friend.

More levels are available through in-app purchases.
