Welcome to another instalment of Pocket Gamer's free game round-up, which aims to highlight the best free games from the past 24 hours.

Today, we have an excellent side-scrolling adventure from Gameloft, a level-crammed puzzler, a small boy and his buddies, a robot rampage, and a plethora of other activities.

These games could shoot back to their normal prices at any time, so go and grab them as quickly as you can.

The Oregon Trail (iPhone)

Gameloft's Gold Award-winning remake of classic Apple II adventure game The Oregon Trail has been accorded freebie status to celebrate the impending release of its sequel, The Oregon Trail: American Settler.

The side-scrolling title manages to pack in all of the problem-solving tasks found in the original game, eight skill-based mini-games - such as fishing and berry picking - and a ton of side-missions.

Just watch out for the random bouts of dysentery.

Tiki Totems 2 (iPhone)

The second chapter in this popular puzzle series sees you - once again - destroying a variety of different blocks, while attempting to stop the idol balancing on top of them from hitting the ground.

Tiki Totems 2 features a massive 288 levels and three game modes, Game Center integration for achievements, and a special level editor that enables you to create your own masterpieces.

Mystical Gem (iPhone and iPad)

Mystical Gem sees you guide a little boy and his buddies through numerous monster-filled ruins in their search for a sparkly gemstone.

Each of the game's four unique characters has its own unique set of weapons - which can be mastered - and can utilise 140 skills and 70 pieces of equipment.

Game Center provides bragging rights.

Robot Rampage (iPhone)

Robot Rampage serves up randomly generated cities, then allows you to level them with your glorious destructive powers.

Playing as a robot invader, you'll find yourself stomping, smashing, and burning buildings, and punching your way through waves of troops, helicopters, and tanks.

There are four different game modes - Air Assault, Countdown, Rampage, Classic - to master, and support for both OpenFeint and Game Center.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 (iPhone and iPad)

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 invites you to play a round of golf on some of the world's most famous courses in Solo, Head-to-Head, and PGA Tour modes.

Tiger himself, Anthony Kim, Paul Casey, and a selection of other golfing greats are on hand for you to control, or you can just create your own scratch golfer from, err, scratch.

One Single Life 2 (iPhone)

One Single Life 2 literally gives you a single life to complete a series of jumps, each of which becomes wider the further you progress.

If you manage to leap the lot, you'll be given a place on the prestigious Hall of Fame leaderboard, and will unlock achievements in both Game Center and OpenFeint.

You can buy yourself unlimited lives through in-app purchases, should you wish to do so.
