Zombie Highway
By Auxbrain - download for iPhone and iPad

Zombie Highway is a drive-and-survive-'em-up (yes, we made that up) in which you have to drive down an obstacle-filled highway while being attacked by tons of flesh-eating zombies.

If the handguns, shotguns, and automatic weapons at your disposal aren't enough to fend off the undead walkers that grip tightly to the side of your vehicle, you can choose to just ram them against packed cars and other hazards.

Zombie Highway managed to nab a Pocket Gamer Bronze Award at review. You know what that means. Yes: it's worth a download.

Charadium II HD
By On5 - download for iPad

Charadium II HD is a draw-and-guess (no, we didn't make this one up) multiplayer game that gives you a random word and asks you to draw it. Other players then attempt to guess what your masterpiece actually is.

You can do this across real-time or turn-based games with your family, friends, and complete strangers from around the world.

This version of Charadium II HD features all the artistic tools you need to produce quality works of art, such as realistic brushes and varied colour palettes.

Anthony is a Liverpool, UK-based writer who fell in love with gaming while playing Super Mario World on his SNES back in the early '90s. When he isn't busy grooming his beard, you can find him replaying Resident Evil or Final Fantasy VII for the umpteenth time. Aside from gaming, Anthony likes hiking, MMA, and pretending he’s a Viking.
