Call of Mini: Sniper
By Triniti Interactive - download for iPhone and iPad

Playing as Rod, the sheriff of Muerte Vista, in Call of Mini: Sniper, you have to protect the remaining survivors of an apocalypse from the flesh-eating zombies that are baying for their blood.

It's a difficult (and often bloody) mission, but you have all manner of different weapons at your disposal, including machine guns, rocket launchers, and trucks that are full of explosive propane.

The Wiki Game - A Wikipedia Game of Racing and Exploring!
By Alex Clemesha - download for iPhone and iPad

This surprisingly entertaining puzzle game tasks you with navigating between two Wikipedia articles in as few clicks as possible. Let us explain.

The app will ask you to travel from an article about the Pacific Ocean to an article about Tokyo, for example. To do this, you simply scour the initial article for a link to Wikipedia's Japan page, and then search through it for a link to Tokyo.

It'll take two clicks, and you'll be awarded three stars. Simple.

Blueprint 3D
By FDG Entertainment - download for iPhone

Blueprint 3D is a Pocket Gamer Gold Award-winning puzzler, which - basically - means you'd be absolutely stupid not to download it while it's available for free.

In it, you have to rotate dots and lines on multiple planes in order to construct beautiful blueprints of the Eiffel Tower, the iPhone, the iPad, and over 250 other iconic images.

Did we mention that it won a Gold Award?
