Free iPhone and iPad games: Sudoku, Monkey Flight

If you aren't familiar with sudoku, the basic aim of the game is to fill a 9x9 grid with digits so that each row, column, and mini 3x3 sub-grid contains a number between one and nine.

This is a lot harder than it sounds, however, as the same single integer can't appear more than once in a row, column, or 3x3 grid.

EA's Sudoku features five different difficulty levels that range from Easy to Insane, and "thousands" of different grid designs.

Monkey Flight (Universal)

Monkey Flight tasks you with collecting as much fruit as you possibly can. Naturally, you do this by firing a selection of simians into the air using a special "palm tree catapult".

Okay, so maybe not 'naturally'.

Anyway, there are 60 different challenges for you to complete, three different game modes, and support for Apple's Game Center.
