Karoshi
By YoYo Games - download for iPhone and iPad

Karoshi is unlike the majority of games you'll have played in the past or are likely to play in the future.

Instead of doing your upmost to ensure that the game's 'hero' survives, you try to help him commit suicide in the most glorious of fashions.

That sounds easy, but it isn't. Each level features puzzles that will force you to think outside of the box.

Paracute
By Donut Games - download for iPhone and iPad

Your aim in this cute and cuddly title is to help your teddy protagonist reach the bottom of Fuzzy Land's dangerous caves unscathed.

Each of Paracute's 40 caves is littered with collectible hearts that you'll need to grab if you want to achieve a three-star rating, but steering off-course to nab them will often result in squeaky bum time.

Anthony is a Liverpool, UK-based writer who fell in love with gaming while playing Super Mario World on his SNES back in the early '90s. When he isn't busy grooming his beard, you can find him replaying Resident Evil or Final Fantasy VII for the umpteenth time. Aside from gaming, Anthony likes hiking, MMA, and pretending he’s a Viking.
