Duke Nukem 3D
By MachineWorks Northwest - download for iPhone

If you aren't familiar with foul-mouthed action hero Duke Nukem, you must have been living under a rock or walking around with your eyes closed for the past decade.

In this instalment of the Duke Nukem franchise, you are pitted against waves of alien scum, who've invaded downtown Los Angeles in the hope of snatching pretty women and breeding with them.

Naturally, Duke has a whole range of weapons that he can use to dispatch his foes, and an even larger arsenal of witty one-liners.

Feed Me Oil
By Chillingo - download for iPhone or download for iPad

Your aim in this addictive physics-puzzler is to guide oil from broken pipes into the mouths of strange creatures, with the additional goal of nabbing a three-star rating and a high score.

You'll need to complete this game's large collection of levels without spilling or wasting lots of the black gold if you want to compete for a place on its global leaderboards.

There are also achievements to unlock as you play.
