Final Fantasy & Dragon Quest DS and PSP bonanza expected at Square Enix Party 2007
Publisher reveals content of forthcoming Japan-only event

Square Enix is having a party and everyone's invited. Well, everyone who happens to be in Japan on May 12-13th.
The event is aimed at displaying the company's forthcoming wares in either playable or video form to its many, many fans. Though we suspect it's also an opportunity for anyone to try to get the publisher's daunting output when it comes to its seemingly eternal Final Fantasy franchise into some sort of manageable order in their head.
With that in mind, then, DS owners can look forward to slotting Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, and Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker into the FF and DQ lineage.
But at least owners of Nintendo's handheld will get to cleanse their palate with intriguing RPG, It's a Wonderful World and the remarkable prospect of Itadaki Street DS: Dragon Quest & Super Mario.
PSP fans have no such luck and face a relentless FF assault in the form of FF Tactics: Shishi Sensou, FF Anniversary Edition, FFII Anniversary Edition and FFVII: Crisis Core, currently wowing the crowds thanks to a newly released trailer (check out gamevideos.com for the footage).
We'll obviously pick at these as and when we're able to get our hands on them (most haven't even got a European release yet and, indeed, some may never make it to these shores) so expect updates on this veritable RPG smorgasbord to follow.
