This week's DSiWare releases have a distinct old skool feel to them.

There's a bundle of Game & Watch titles on offer, and the ga-roovy platforming shenanigans of Earthworm Jim make an appearance on the DSi service.

First up is Flipper, the story of one young boy's mission to get his goldfish back. Each level must been blasted and reformed to allow passage to his beloved pet.

The four 3D worlds have a lovely pixelart look to them and implement 'voxel engine technology', which basically means you can alter the environment to help you make progress.

Looks like solid, puzzling fun. Flipper is available for 500 DSi Points.

Earthworm Jim gets yet another remake, this time with DSi-exclusive features. The worm in the suit platforms his way through the galaxy, blasting anything that moves. There are cows, too.

Special facial expression challenges are included, which track your face via the DSi camera and earn you bonuses. Sounds a bit crazy, but then so is the whole concept behind the game.

It's a faithful remake of the original SNES release, so it should be good fun. Earthworm Jim is downloadable for 500 DSi Points.

myPostcards is exactly what it sounds like. Take photos, stick them on a postcard, add some silly images, write a message, send postcard off to a friend via wi-fi, repeat. Yours for 200 DSi Points.

There are three Game & Watch releases this week. Ball is a juggling games in which you move Mr Game & Watch left and right, making sure he doesn't drop any of the balls. Classic, but rather boring.

Flagman is a 'remember the sequence' game. Flagman moves two flags up and down in a random order, and you need to recreate the sequence back to him. Again, classic gameplay but best left in the past.

Finally, Donkey Kong Jr may be worth grabbing for nostalgic value. The great Donkey Kong has been captured by Mario, so it's now his son's job to swing and climb his way to save the big guy.

All three Game & Watch releases are priced at 200 DSi Points.
