Hold on for screenshots

Cave development head Makoto Asada has revealed on his company's blog that the developer is currently working on a new shooter for Windows Phone.

Despite previous Cave shooters such as DeathSmiles, Dodonpachi Resurrection, and Mushihimesama Bug Panic all faring well, the developer has opted to create an original game rather than simply port an existing title.

Just don't expect to see it soon, as the game is only 20 to 30 per cent complete.

Asada promises to release screenshots of the new title as soon as they are ready to be shown.

Unfortunately, until then we don't have a name, a price, an expected release date, or an idea of the game's features, but we'll let you know when we do.
