iOS + Android + 3DS ...

Fine, we might be a day late with this round up of new stuff heading your way this week, but all us Brits spent yesterday warming our pallid skin under the weak yellow sun and getting into fights about which of the footballs is the best.

Still, this week you can look forward to swinging some flails around with a pale, angry man, shivering through a frozen Arctic adventure, and travelling back in time to try and make sure none of your townspeople die of dysentery. Probably.

Of course, there'll be new stuff clambering its way up from the grotty underbelly of the pocket gaming world all week, so be sure to check back to see us dish the dirt on all of that too.

Oh, and take heed. The dates, platforms, and details here are all subject to change. The App Store might explode or something. If that does happen, we'll probably update this post though.

iOS and Android Last Inua was meant to come out last month, and we were all set up to tell you that. Then it didn't appear, so we didn't bother telling you.

But now the ice cold, gorgeous looking puzzle-platformer about an Inuit father and son running from a monster is definitely coming out on Thursday, so consider yourself told.

If you prefer managing towns to fleeing from demons, then you might be interested in 1849. It's all about constructing and maintaining a settlement in the California Gold Rush, and it should be out on iOS and Android this week.

Or perhaps you like your games a little more retro? Then how about 2-bit Cowboy. Described by dev Cascadia Games as 'Westernvania', it's a wild-west platformer with green-tinged Game Boy-style graphics that's being published by Crescent Moon Games.

And then there's Dextris. It's a cube-controlling neon shooter from the dev behind the Silver Award-winning Silverfish, and it'll probably melt your eyes. But, y'know, in a good way.

Nintendo 3DS

There are a couple of games hitting the eShop this week. I probably wouldn't get that excited about one of them, unless you like obscure NES games.

First up though there's The Denpa Men 3: The Rise of Digitoll. It's an RPG about capturing the myterious magnetic Denpa Men, forming parties with them, and then raiding dungeons.

We liked the last two games in the series, The Denpa Men: They Came by Wave and The Denpa Men 2: Beyond The Waves, giving them both Silver Awards, so this one might be pretty good too.

Then there's Clu Clu Land, which is a blast from the 8-bit past. It sort of looks like a more complicated Pac-Man, but with sea urchins. Apparently there are 20 levels. Er, yeah.

PS Vita

The big macho manly sword-flail-swinging release this week for the PS Vita is God of War Collection. It's two third-person action adventures in one, featuring polished up versions of PS2 classics God of War and God of War II.

It's available both as a thing in a box and as a series of numbers delivered directly to your PS Vita from the PSN Store. Maybe you could get one of each? Actually no, don't do that.

Harry used to be really good at Snake on the Nokia 5110. Apparently though, digital snake wrangling isn't a proper job, so now he writes words about games instead.
