CES 2012: Netflix (US) and Music Unlimited heading to PlayStation Vita for launch
|

Sony has used its press conference at CES 2012 to announce that two popular PlayStation 3 applications - Netflix and Music Unlimited - will be available on the PS Vita at launch.

Music Unlimited is the company’s subscription-based music streaming service that lets you stream and listen to thousands of popular musical acts from the most well-known dance hall troupes.

The second (and, disappointingly, US-only) app confirmed by the company at the event was Netflix, which recently launched over here in the UK but has been a mainstay of video streaming services in the US for some time now.

Netflix will also be available at US launch on the PS Vita, letting gamers stream videos and films from a huge range of titles straight to their console.

The PS Vita launches on February 22nd in both Europe and America. If you’re champing at the bit to get at one, you can always pretend it’s your hands unboxing the Japanese model in our exciting feature.
