When there’s no news and everyone has to start making things up, they call it the silly season. Of course, it’s always the silly season on the Internet because everyone is kinda, sorta making up news that may or may not be true. One such example is from the Computer and Video Games website (www.computerandvideogames.com)

It reckons developer Blizzard is looking at bringing its classic games like Diablo or StarCraft to handheld. A recent newsletter asked fans if they be would prefer role playing Diablo II on either DS or PSP or strategy game StarCraft on DS. A while back Blizzard released a couple of its old games such as The Lost Vikings on GameBoy Advance, so it has some interest in the area. And considering its expertise in online games, including current smash World of Warcrafts, it would certainly make sense for the developer to get involved in using the wi-fi abilities of either DS or PSP, especially if it could link this into its Battle.net infrastructure.
