Are you sitting down? GTA: Vice City Stories hasn't missed its release date
The next eight days in handheld games

There's a definite 'better late than never' feel about this week's release schedule update, with Tomb Raider Legend finally threatening to turn up on DS while – and we sincerely hope you're holding on to your droid of choice for this – PSP owners can at last look forward to an actual release day for their version of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. (A new one from the original date the title so rudely ignored, of course.)
Hopefully both of these will be worth the wait.
More certain positive news can be seen in tomorrow's releases, which, aside from a slight slip for Spongebob Squarepands & Friends: Creature from the Krusty Krab and Bratz: Forever Diamondz (now both due November 17th), sees every other title having the courtesy to stick to their planned street date.
Well, okay, every other title except Hot PXL, which has been pushed back to February next year.
But that's hardly the end of the world. There's plenty to keep us occupied until then, as both the number of PSP and DS titles continue to increase as we edge ever closer to Christmas – and you'll be glad they're not all turkeys.
