Amazon Japan offering ¥2000 discount to buyers of 3G-enabled PS Vita and at least one game

Smaller retailers to follow suit on February 23rd

Amazon Japan offering ¥2000 discount to buyers of 3G-enabled PS Vita and at least one game

Last week, Amazon Japan began offering a ¥2000 discount to anybody who purchased a 3G-enabled PS Vita and at least one game from its online marketplace.

This campaign, which kicked off on the 15th, is expected to run until March 31st.

It's not unusual for Amazon to offer promotional bundles and cut-price deals, of course, but this particular campaign could be part of an official Sony directive.

Several smaller retailers are claiming that the Japanese manufacturer has instructed them to launch the same campaign on February 23rd.

We aren't certain whether Sony will publicise this campaign or let individual retailers take the reins, but we're sure to find out this Thursday as it spreads to more retailers.
