Those of you who love to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad, and even Apple TV devices will already know that Absinthe 2.0 - an untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 5.1.1 - was released late last week.

According to the Chronic Dev Team, this latest version of Absinthe has been downloaded almost 1 million times. In fact, a whopping 973,086 devices were jailbroken over the weekend using Absinthe 2.0, including 211,401 brand-new Retina display-equipped iPads.

Absinthe 2.0 can be used to jailbreak A4 devices such as the 3GS, as well as A5 and A5X devices like the iPhone and Apple's latest iPad iteration. It isn't, however, currently capable of jailbreaking iPad 2 models that pack a 32-nanometer processor.
