Who doesn't love new games? We certainly do - there's just something about the exhilaration of a new title you can't wait to dive into, as the loading screen pops up and you enter a brave new world.
Of course, new mobile games are a dime a dozen these days, and who has the time to scour the iPhone, iPad and/or Android stores to catch the latest title that drops? This is exactly why we've gathered a quick list of 5 new mobile games you should try this week, from undiscovered indie gems to high-profile AAA masterpieces.
By the way, if you've got an unquenchable thirst for curated games you can obsess over each week, be sure to check out our NEW WEEKLY MOBILE GAMES hub, or join our lively community on Twitter or Discord.
Let's get on with it!
1
Coffee Pool

If you're looking to switch up your daily morning ritual, perhaps a quick game of pool might suffice? As you might have guessed from the title, Coffee Pool offers pool with your coffee across new tables every day, with randomised rules you'll need to master and daily table modifiers for that extra morning boost.
You can compete with your pals on the ultimate quest to clear the table in the least number of shots, or if you're looking for something a tad more challenging, the League mode lets you dive into endless stages to keep your mind sharp - just like the perfect cup of coffee.
2
Bear Avalanche

Trying to escape an avalanche is terrifying enough as it is, but when you throw in a gigantic monster of a bear in the mix, it's an absolute nightmare. Hilariously enough, Bear Avalanche is exactly as it says on the tin - you drive madly to escape the avalanche of angry claws across challenging terrain - and if that's not horrifying enough, you've also got a bunch of actual bears leaping at you from every direction as you go along.
Fret not, though - as you complete challenges, you'll get to upgrade your vehicle and boost your stats to survive the bear onslaught. You might even feel confident enough to face the bears head-on in the Arena, because no avalanche is going to stop you, bear-filled or otherwise. It's just another Tuesday, isn't it?

3
Space Menace 2

Given all the unpredictability of space, you'll always need to be on your toes to survive - even more so if you're on a quest to conquer the galaxy. Space Menace 2 lets you embody the titular interstellar menace across real-time strategy missions, where you fight to earn credits and expand your reign.
As you upgrade and boost your fleet, you'll get to customise different modules and equip yourself for challenging battles. Build your reputation well enough to earn some space cred and make those factions bow down to you - no matter what it takes.

4
All Who Wander

There's nothing quite like the classic roguelike experience on mobile, and All Who Wander promises all that with 30 levels and 10 character classes to boot. The core loop is simple: fight, die, then come back stronger - or die trying.
There are more than a hundred different abilities to try and master against 70+ monsters and 6 bosses, with randomly generated environments filled with traps and treasures alike. And with ever-present permadeath looming over you everywhere you go, it's a compelling journey you'll likely want to embark on over and over again.

5
Mutant Summoners

Isekai adventures never get old, do they? This time around, you'll take on the role of the Manager in charge of an elite breed of warriors, and it's up to you to assemble the titular Mutant Summoners to save a fractured cyberpunk world.
The idle RPG features a distinct art style that makes each character shine, with a variety of different skills you can strategise with as you deploy your formations. There are currently a thousand free pulls being given away to give you a head start during the launch, so you'd best get summoning to build your ultimate mutant team.
