Who doesn't love new games? We certainly do - there's just something about the exhilaration of a new title you can't wait to dive into, as the loading screen pops up and you enter a brave new world.
Of course, new mobile games are a dime a dozen these days, and who has the time to scour the iPhone, iPad and/or Android stores to catch the latest title that drops? This is exactly why we've gathered a quick list of 5 new mobile games you should try this week, from undiscovered indie gems to high-profile AAA masterpieces.

Rolling Down Bottles
This hilarious hypercasual game sees you - as the title suggests - rolling down bottles from the top of the stairs down toward the ground, because there's nothing quite like the thrill of watching breakable objects spin downwards into unspeakable doom. All you really have to do is swipe to avoid obstacles in your way, whether they're random bowling balls on the stairs (and other hazards) or fire extinguishers precariously placed on the steps.
You can also unlock different bottle styles as you progress through the game - they have their own personalities too, so be warned!

Lego Legacy: Heroes Unboxed
This Netflix exclusive lets you squad up with a team of minifigures from Captain Redbeard to the Hot Dog Man as you engage in some turn-based fun across a vibrant RPG adventure. You'll traverse all kinds of environments and duke it out with other players as well to rise up the global leaderboards.
The game also features strategic battles, real LEGO sets, and a lovely “Welcome Gift” to celebrate its launch. In particular, you can expect to score the new Shanty Legend Scarlett upon logging in.

The Library of Babel
This gorgeous 2D stealth platformer features stunning hand-drawn aesthetics and a futuristic murder mystery that you'll have to solve as inspired by Jorge Luis Borges’ short story. You'll step into the shoes of the Seeker Ludovik, and it's up to you to get to the bottom of the mystery of the titular library that holds the truth about your robot-run society. You'll also need to prioritise stealth over violence in order to survive.
The game is available to download on iOS for $6.99 a pop or your local equivalent.

BOKURA
Gather up your besties with this co-op-only adventure about running away from home, all presented in gorgeous pixel-art visuals. The game boasts over 90,000 downloads on Steam, and offers cross-platform compatibility to make sure you can team up with your friend no matter the device.
Essentially, you'll need to communicate via voice chat in order to get through puzzles together in the same space. There are multiple endings to discover as well, along with a special epilogue in the 1.0 version.

Bullet Hell Heroes
This frantic frenzy that is Bullet Hell Heroes thrusts you into the middle of complete chaos as you fight to clear stages across vibrant pixel-art visuals and convenient vertical scrolling. There's no limited stamina here, so you can take on each level again and again until you shoot your way to victory.
The game features over 20 types of heroes, as well as an Easy, Normal, Hard, Maniac and Lunatic difficulty level to suit your preferences best. There are more than 100 types of enemies to master as well.
