NBA Clash is a 3v3 basketball game for iOS and Android that's soft launched in select countries
Nifty Games has unveiled a new sports title for basketball fans called NBA Clash. It promises short head-to-head online matches that play out in real-time. The game is available in select regions for iOS and Android, including the UK.
The matches in NBA Clash use a three versus three set-up, with the first team to net 11 points taking the victory. You control your players in offensive and defensive situations, using a mixture of taps, drags and swipes. Timing will often be key in both cases, alongside strategically using your squad's special abilities.
The squad itself will be made up of NBA stars from the current roster that you earn by opening packs and collecting cards. Each player will have different strengths and abilities that you will need to consider before adding them to your team. For example, there are multiple Play Styles, including Sharpshooter, Shot Blocker, and Finisher. Regardless of who you choose, you will want to upgrade them to ensure they play to their potential on the court.
To keep NBA Clash interesting, the developers have included additional challenges to provide extra objectives to focus on during each match. Beyond that, you can also expect occasional Events and Season Campaigns to tackle. Alternatively, you can simply battle your way to the top of the leaderboards in search of bragging rights.
We can expect plenty of updates in the coming months, particularly with the new NBA season set to get underway in October.
