Sony brings MyStylist fashion tool to PSP
Is there no end to its talents? Now your PSP can organise your wardrobe

We don't know about you, but we can't think of anything worse than going out with friends only for them to comment that you were wearing that top last time they saw you. Or the last ten times, in fact.
Sony clearly feels there's a market there for software that helps you choose and organise your clothes, as well as keep tabs on what you wore and when because it's come up with intriguing and unique fashion game MyStylist as a result.
MyStylist was actually first shown back at last year's Tokyo Game Show but it's just been released in Japan so more details have become available.
The game comes bundled with the PSP camera, which enables you to painstakingly photograph each item of clothing in your wardrobe. Not only is this handy for instantly moving items about to see what they'll look like together, it's also designed to help you when you're out shopping. In fact, Sony has even spoken about integrating a function that lets you connect to the internet and preview clothes from online sites alongside your own.
Your own clothes can be labelled into sections, so you can keep sports wear and your glittery clubbing shirts separate. Which is clearly for the best. A calender even enables you to make note of what you wore on a particular day and lets you plan outfits for the weeks ahead, even offering suggestions based on your input. Imagine: you just get up, switch on your PSP and it tells you what you need to dig out of your wardrobe! (We're starting to feel it's not unlike having a digital version of TV's Gok Wan.)
Whether it's the sort of software you'd want to own or not, you can't deny that MyStylist is an interesting idea. And it looks good, too.
Perhaps a copy of it bundled with a pink PSP could be this Christmas' easy-present-for-the-girlfriend – you know, the equivalent of a DS and Nintendogs. Except we're not actually sure as yet if MyStylist will be available here in time for Christmas, or ever, because no release dates have been announced outside of Japan. But if you know your brogues from your blousons, then click 'Track It!" to stay up to date on its progress.
