Moonshot lets you slingshot a lost moon back to Mother Earth, coming soon to Apple Arcade

Morsel Interactive has announced the official launch of Moonshot on April 22nd, a charming physics-based puzzle game on Apple Arcade. Players take on the role of Moon Pi, and must help the adorable protagonist find its way back to Mother Earth via slingshot mechanics and a wide variety of navigational puzzles.

In Moonshot, players can use simple drag-and-release controls to avoid obstacles such as aliens and black hole traps in order to return to earth. Precision and speed are both key here, as players will have to find the most efficient path and the least amount of moves to get back home.

There will also be special weekly events where rare skins and other prizes will be up for grabs across 126 levels, as well as different super powers and boosters to spice up every new playthrough. There are 35 skins to collect and 50 achievements to aim for, along with an entertaining narrative as well as iCloud support.

"Morsel Interactive is a small, wife and husband design studio working on iOS projects that we love. Before working full-time on Moonshot, we worked as product designers on Marco Polo: Messenger app, another highly popular iOS app," says the game's official press release. "During their initial prototyping phase, Apple introduced Apple Arcade and we immediately knew that if we decide to make a game, we're going to do it for Apple Arcade."

If you're eager to try out the charming title from the wife-and-husband design studio, Moonshot is available for pre-order on Apple Arcade. It's a subscription service that costs $4.99 a month or your local equivalent. You can also have a look at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the game.
