Aeria Games brings freemium social card-battler Monster Paradise to US iPhones
Here there be monster… cards

Aeria Games has brought Monster Paradise, a card-battling iOS game, out of Japan thanks to its newly-launched subsidiary Aeria Mobile.
Following in the spirit of Rage of Bahamut and Pokémon, Monster Paradise has the player assume the familiar role of a monster trainer traveling through a fantasy world looking for new monsters to add to their deck of cards.
Monster Paradise offers players a generous amount of content for its price (free) and profile (3MB). The game boasts over 180 quests to complete, and players can collect over 500 monsters spread across 60 in-game areas.
Facebook to the RescueIf players require help defeating particularly powerful monsters (the so-called Dark Monsters), they may call on their friends for help. Interestingly, this social aspect of the game is handled by Facebook instead of the more traditional GREE or DeNA networks.
Players may also challenge friends to PvP via Facebook to become stronger still and gain access to more monsters and features.
Monster Paradise is the first game released by Aeria Mobile to make it over to the United States, but the company is already working on future English-language localizations for release on iOS.
