Survival mode is coming to Minecraft: Pocket Edition

The much-loved Survival mode of Minecraft will be coming to the Pocket Edition, creator Mojang has told Pocket Gamer.
However, as the developer is now working on bringing the game to Android touchscreen devices, we won't be seeing it until those versions are released.
Touchy feely
"We have tons of stuff being planned but we haven't nailed out the whole release yet," said Daniel Kaplan, Mojang's press representative.
"white">The things I can say right now is we're working on the touch controls for phones that haven’t got the PlayStation buttons, and we're working on making sure more people are able to play the game. After this iteration with the touch controls, we will start adding and optimise new stuff."
At present, the game is exclusively available on the Xperia Play Android smartphone. We gave it a Pocket Gamer Silver award.
