First an exciting new president, and now this

Metal Gear Solid Touch goes live a day early in the US

To be perfectly honest, there’s not a lot else we can say about this. Metal Gear Solid Touch was supposed to be out in the US on the 19th of March, as it was here in the UK, but American iPhone and iPod touch users noticed this morning that it was available a day early.

To recap, so that there are enough words to balance out the accompanying image, Metal Gear Solid Touch is set in the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots universe, and will comprise twelve levels initially, with more available as a free download somewhere down the road.

Hideo Kojima has promoted the title effusively in interviews, calling it a ‘light-hearted’ Metal Gear game, much to the dismay of the hardcore Metal Gear fan base.

Our review will be waiting for you when you get up tomorrow, so you’ll know then whether it’s any good.
