Gram Games and Zynga are celebrating Merge Dragons!' third anniversary in style by introducing dessert-themed dragons and beautiful crystal items via a special in-game event.

Starting today, you'll be able to spend some time with Nilla Dragon and the sweet BonBon Dragon. It sounds like good fun, and the new dragons look really quite cute.

"Today is a special date here at Gram Games, for us, Merge Dragons! has been a key game that continues to inspire creativity and joy among our team." said Eren Yanik, Chief Product Officer at Gram Games. "So for this event we're having a little fun with the cake theme, hoping we can give our fans the sweetest slice of paradise."

If you're yet to give Merge Dragons! a go, it's basically an adventure puzzler where you'll work to heal a magical land by harnessing the power of collectable dragons, building up your personal camp, and solving fun puzzles.

With it being a merge-style game, a big part of the appeal is producing unique artefacts and skills by combining almost anything and everything, from magical flowers and stars to dragon eggs. It's all about getting experimental and seeing where your creativity takes you.

Earlier this month, the game launched its latest crossover event with hit Adult Swim show Rick & Morty. Here's our full news story on the limited-time collab.

Those looking to return to Merge Dragons! or hop in for the first time will find it available for download now from over on the App Store and Google Play as a free-to-play game. You can also stay up to date on its latest updates via its Facebook page.
