Marvel Contest of Champions launches Fantastic Four-themed content to hype up the upcoming film's release
  • Log in to add the first family to your roster
  • The Maker and High Evolutionary join the fray
  • Clear quests for Reed Richards until July 9th

Marvel Contest of Champions already dropped details on its Fantastic Four-themed content last month, but today, we're learning even more about the event's nitty-gritty to hype up the Fantastic Four: First Steps' July 25th release date.

I'm personally pretty pumped about the film, so the hype is very much real - even more so as the fighting game launches a host of themed events surrounding Marvel's first family. In particular, the Future Foundation Event will have you lending the team a hand as you clear objectives across The Battlerealm, while the “Vaults of Variant” Side Quest, running until July 9th, tasks you with helping Reed Richards and his manipulations of the Multiverse.

Now, I'm not entirely sure if that's a spoiler for the film (I've been burned before), but it's still interesting nonetheless.

Additionally, The Maker and High Evolutionary will also be joining the fray, which you can get your hands on on July 17th and 31st, respectively. Is this once again a spoiler for the film? Only time will tell.

In any case, a login event will also be running until August 14th, where Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Human Torch, and Thing will be up for grabs. And if you want to see how they all stack up against the rest, why not take a look at the MCoC tier list?

In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking it out on Google Play and on the App Store. It's free-to-play with in-app purchases.
