Marvel Contest of Champions joins Marvel's Fantastic Four celebrations ahead of movie release

• Marvel's Fantastic Four headline a new mode in Marvel Contest of Champions
• The foursome will also appear at the upcoming celebratory screenings at the El Capitan theatre
• Fans can also look forward to the new Squad Builder mode with 52 free champions

With the upcoming release of Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel is very eager to get their First Family out there once more. And an upcoming special screening at the El Capitan theatre in Hollywood will feature a swathe of fan events, including multiple demo booths from mobile fighter Marvel Contest of Champions!

Fans who attend the El Capitan screening will be able to take on an exclusive Fantastic Four-themed challenge to battle the Silver Surfer. Those who manage to succeed will be able to grab their own MoC-exclusive H.E.R.B.I.E. pin to boot!

But for the rest of us who aren't in California, or able to attend, there's still plenty to look forward to. Starting July 24th, there's the debut of the brand-new Dimensional Arcade: Doom Cycle mode, which features a swathe of new mechanics, including casual autoplay and energy resource as the Fantastic Four battle hordes of Doombots in their battlerealm.

For fans of the F4, this latest in a suite of new collab and crossover events is going to be very cheerful news. While they may have been overshadowed by the X-Men and Avengers for many years, now Marvel's First Family seem to be taking the spotlight once again.

And if you've been meaning to jump into Marvel Contest of Champions, now really may be the best time to do so. Because Kabam are also launching their new Squad Builder mode that's live until August 6th, granting you 52 free, maxed-out two-star champions to use to build the highest-scoring squad in this gauntlet of bosses.
