Zynga's crime-filled sequel Mafia Wars 2 has managed to battle its way onto Facebook's territory, meaning you can head on over to the social network and play it right now.

If you decide to take Mafia Wars 2 for a whirl, the first thing you'll notice is the game's brand-new graphical style, which represents a massive departure from the text-heavy approach of its predecessor.

Naturally enough, given its name, Mafia Wars 2 sees you take on the role of a mobster, following a five-year stint in jail for a crime you didn't commit.

Shoot first, maybe ask questions later

Upon your release, you buy a casino just outside of Vegas, grab yourself a gun (will you ever learn?), and set out to stamp your mark.

This involves shooting people, making money through casinos and dodgy DVD distribution factories, shooting people, robbing your opponents, and shooting people.

Head on over to Facebook and check it out for yourself.
