Adventure puzzler Legal Dungeon to launch for iOS and Android next month

Today, indie developer Somi, mobile developers of RETSNOM and Replica, announced a mobile port of their PC and Switch adventure title Legal Dungeon. Early next month, Legal Dungeon will find its way to iOS and Android.
Legal Dungeon is not quite what it may sound like. Based on the name, you may expect it to be some sort of lawyer-themed dungeon crawler, but it is instead a mainly text-based adventure game with some interesting and unique mechanics thrown in. In fact, there’s an argument to be made that it could be called a puzzle game with all of the sleuthing and piecing together evidence you will be doing. Being a game about solving crimes, investigating police documents, and presenting verdicts on individual cases, Legal Dungeon is much more a Phoenix Wright than a Legend of Zelda.

With an interesting anime-inspired art style and mainly text-based game mechanics, it’s certainly a niche title, but one that has found relative success on the platforms it has already been released on. For the most part, you will be navigating documents and piecing together strings of evidence to gather a coherent verdict on crimes that range from simple infractions to deeply intriguing murder mysteries. With over 14 endings you could get, Legal Dungeon makes for a good game that you can put some time into to tease your brain and immerse yourself within.
Legal Dungeon will be a premium title, releasing on March 4th worldwide for both iOS and Android. If a mysterious and immersive crime drama sounds up your alley, you can pre-order it now on the App Store for $6.99. Google Play pre-registrations are not yet open as at the time of writing. At launch, Legal Dungeon will include English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese language support.
