League of Masters best synergies

If you know me, you probably know how much I love the auto-chess genre. When I discovered League of Masters, it seemed a little different - after all, it's no Teamfight Tactics. However, I came to like it quite a lot, and that's why I made three of the best synergies in League of Masters you can use to climb!
In League of Masters, when you talk about synergy you mean what makes a team work - most individual units have decent traits/abilities, but the synergy is what it all comes down to. That's the case here too, you could easily win if you just understand this basic concept: create a team around one good synergy, and then flex any units you need into it -> win the game.
I'd break it down more, but that's beside the point. Instead, these are three of the best synergies I had success with, along with an explanation of how you can play each one of them.

What you need to know about League of Masters as an auto chess game
I have reached Grandmaster in Teamfight Tactics quite often, and that's because I absolutely love games where it comes down to strategy alone (even though I have a deeply seeded love for gachas too). Even if you are a beginner in auto chess, you will find it fairly easy to adapt, and if you choose to follow this guide, you will also find that it's going to be easier to win than you think!- While you wait for your next battle, you could consider redeeming the latest Grimguard Tactics codes or checking the best decks for Pokemon TCG Pocket!
To be fair, it is a pretty simple game - start a match, go with whichever units come, and try to constantly switch towards better and stronger ones. Just don't forget to upgrade them.
Before we get started, I'll break down the two terms the synergies are named after:
- Vertical - a vertical team is a basic team that goes deep into a specific synergy. You see traits that activate when you have for example 2/4/6/8 units belonging to the same synergy in one team, and the idea is to use all of them to get the most out of that specific synergy.
- Splash - a splash synergy is basically a synergy (let's say 3 units) that can fit into many comps. As is the case for the one I mentioned in this guide, the Naga Splash revolves around the Naga synergy plus whichever other units come. In short, think of it as a flexible synergy.
Here you have the complete guide for the best synergies in League of Masters that I've mentioned:
Vertical Jinn | Vertical Ranger | Naga Splash
1
Vertical Jinn

The main reason I like this comp is that it allows you to play any type of item (AP or AD). Of course, you add to that the fact that the Jinn trait is just so strong right now, and you have a winner.
How to play this comp
Early on, you should play around with your lower-level Jinn units, until you get your 4 cost and legendaries on the board. Roll at 6 a little bit to stabilize then focus on leveling. In the early stages you should try to play around your 2 Jinn Assasins, Cleanser and Liquador paired with some type of frontline. If you can get the 2 Guardians synergy that's great, but there are other options also until you hit your units.
If you want to play 3 Assasins, Reaper is the obvious choice at level 9, but early on you don't really care about that. Just play any Assassin so you can activate the synergy and buff Cleanser and Liquador.
At level 5, your team should look something like this:
Liquador, Cleanser, 2 Guardians, plus a third Assassin.
Depending on the items you get, you might want to make Warden your main carry and give him AP items. Instead of a 3rd Assassin, play another Mage to activate the synergy.
With the basics in mind, just continue levelling until you reach level 9, and play around with whoever comes first and whatever works best based on your items and unit upgrades.
2
Vertical Ranger

This is a pretty standard front-to-back team comp that's very easy to play and very flexible. With this comp, you can have multiple carries. The sooner you can activate the Explorer trait, the better since the 4 gold per round is actually useful. It allows you to either reroll in order to stabilize your board or use the gold to push levels (which is what I recommend).
One thing I'd also like to add is that you need AD items for this comp to work. If you have AP items, you shouldn't play it.
How to play this comp
Early on, your 3 Giants should be Ice Spirit, Minotaur Shaman, and Juggernaut. Later swap Ice Spirit or Minotaur Shaman for Tree Giant - he's not only a better unit overall (Legendary), but also activates the High Elf synergy which gives evasion chances.Your main damage carries should be Pathfinder and Wind Archer. Your main tank is Tree Giant (once you get it).
Be sure to check the lobby for assassin players and move your backline units accordingly.

Another way to play this comp is with 3 Guardians. One reason I like this variation better is because you get the Order buff for magic damage mitigation, plus a Physical shred from the Undead synergy. If the lobby is heavy on magic damage, this variation is the better choice.
3
Naga Splash

When it comes to picking one comp, this is by far my favourite comp in League of Masters. Naga Splash is super flexible - it revolves around the Naga/Guardian/Order synergies mostly, but you can play it in other ways too, depending on what you get.
How to play this comp
Early on focus on getting the 3 Guardians synergy up to stabilize your board. Cleric plus Paladin will give you Ordeal synergy which is overpowered in lobbies where there's a lot of magic damage. A 45% magic reduction to ALL fighters is just insane. It doesn't matter what items you get as you can have both AP and AD carries. Medusa and Warden should get whatever AP items you have. Wasp Lord gets any AD/Tank items.
Even though this is a pretty simple comp to play, I wouldn't recommend it to new players. The progression is not as smooth as the other two comps, and since it's a heavy flex comp, you might get distracted and try going for everything. That won't work, so you need to stay open for whatever comes and what would be the better fit depending on the lobby.
