KonoSuba: Fantastic Days's latest update adds a new playable character along with limited-time events and special gacha pulls

Nexon has announced an electrifying new update for KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, the studio's mobile gacha RPG on iOS and Android. Players can expect to welcome a new character, Mel, in the special “Mel Joins the Battle! Lightning Girl Recruit” event from now until November 2nd.

In KonoSuba: Fantastic Days' latest update, Mel is entering the fray along with two new character recruits and raid events. In particular, this "mischievous and inexperienced lightning spirit" deals critical normal physical damage against all foes in combat with her Super, "Spirit Javelin".

The game is also boosting the festivities with the “Mel Joins the Battle! Lightning Girl Recruit” event that will run until November 2nd, giving players the chance to score “4-star Mel (Spirit Power)” and "3-star Mel (Warm Welcome)" characters. Players who have Paid Quartz can grab a 10x Recruit as well at the "Mel Joins the Battle! Special Set Recruit".

Finally, completing “NORMAL” Main Quests will reward players with double the items. On the other hand, doing so for "NORMAL" and "HARD" Main Quests will give away double the amount of “Affinity Points”. You can also take down the Event Boss 10 times in the "Raid Event" to score the “3? Mel (Excuse Me)” character.

If you're keen on joining in on all the fun, you can download KonoSuba: Fantastic Days on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can also join the community of followers on Twitter to stay updated on all the latest developments, or visit the official website for more info.
