Build a haven for rescued felines in iOS match-three puzzler Kitten Sanctuary

Kitten Sanctuary, which hit the App Store yesterday, is a strange title.

Yes, as you can probably imagine from its name, you do have to run a peaceful haven for small cats. Nothing too peculiar so far, then.

However, you acquire said cats and the supplies you need to look after them by completing 100 match-three puzzle stages - each with three game mode variants.

There are 50 different kittens to collect throughout the game - each with a unique story - all of which have to be housed in one of your four sanctuaries.

If you own a real-world pet, you'll already know that you can't own a pet (or 50 of them) without having to feed, water, and play with them. Bummer.

The Universal app Kitten Sanctuary is available to download from Apple's App Store for 69p / 99c.
