Revolutionary Concepts is hoping to bring some fear to the arcade-shooter genre with its upcoming action-horror title Kill 'em All.

Judging by the two screens which have surfaced, you control a minigun-toting badass who has to stroll through spooky wooded areas propelling hot lead into hordes of oncoming velociraptors.

To make this experience even more harrowing, the dev uses sensory deprivation to disorient players. This includes restricting visibility, draining the screen of colour, and even removing the visuals altogether.

Though this isn't the first time a game has relied exclusively on sound to give players the willies (hello, audio-driven iOS chiller Papa Sangre!), it's still a relatively novel approach to scaring the bejeezus out of mobile gamers.

We'll have to wait until Q3 2012 to find out whether Kill 'em All can deliver the creepy goods. In the meantime, cast your eyes over the pair of screenshots in our gallery.
