KartRider: Drift launches its first season along with a Porsche and MapleStory collab

Nexon has officially launched Season One of KartRider: Drift, letting players take part in live updates on the cross-platform and cross-play kart racing game. Aptly titled “New World”, the first season brings with it a boatload of in-game goodies such as new race tracks, fresh karts, cool new cosmetics, two new modes and so much more.

To ramp up the festivities for the launch of Season One, KartRider: Drift is also teaming up with not one but two IPs - KartRider: Drift x Porsche and KartRider: Drift x MapleStory. These collabs will put the iconic 718 Boxster convertible, 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, and Macan GTS up for grabs, where the 718 Boxster can immediately be acquired by any player who simply logs in this season. As soon as a racer hits level 30 on the racing pass, they can then obtain the Macan GTS kart as a reward for all their hard work.

On the other hand, two new characters from the popular MapleStory franchise will also be joining the fray really soon.

As for Season One's goodies, there are eight new tracks to discover, along with new Item Grand Prix and Speed Grand Prix modes. Apart from fresh emotes, license plates, characters and boosters, the new Upgrade system now lets players personalise how their karts look as well as boost their performance from common, fine, to rare grades.

If you're eager to give the game a go, you can head on over to the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store for Android devices and download KartRider: Drift. You can also visit the official website for more info.
