JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit brings the madness of the hit manga to mobile

It's a strange thing, seeing something you knew as niche gain worldwide popularity in real time. But ever since receiving its first proper long-term anime adaptation in 2013, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has exploded in popularity. So it seems only fitting that it now gets its own character-collecting RPG with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit.
Charting the generational rivalry between the Joestar family and DIO (yes, all caps) as well as a variety of other villains ranging from immortal Aztec vampires to serial killer Japanese salarymen, Golden Spirit recreates all the surreal action of the anime series in the palm of your hand.
Building character
And if there's nothing else to be said for JJBA, it's that the vast roster means virtually everyone can have a favourite. With over 50 characters to pick from, it seems fairly certain that no matter whether you like one of the main heroes or villains, or the myriad of kooky side characters, you'll have someone to bring to your team.For my part, I'm most interested in seeing how Wanda Cinemas Games manages to recreate the visual aspect of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The distinctive art style of both the manga and anime is as iconic as any of the characters and stories, and with a mix of Live2D and 3D, it seems they've managed to hit the nail on the head.
To kick off the launch, there's an opportunity to nab yourself an SSR Jotaro Kujo, as well as play through a story event and various minigames centred around the Stardust Crusaders arc. So whether you're a total newcomer or longtime fan, it's well worth checking in on.
