FTL-style space sim Interstellaria is now on Kickstarter

Remember Interstellaria? It's that open world, space ship sim and crew management RPG that we suggested may satisfy you while waiting for FTL to go mobile.

Interstellaria is all about exploring a huge star system freely in your own spaceship. There's also permadeath, so when a crew member is killed they're gone for good.

Get a decent crew and you can take on enemy ships more effectively. Victory leads to rewards, such as better weapons, equipment, and even better ships.

You can also traverse treacherous planets, each of which has weird aliens and hostile robots to fight, and rare items to find and collect.

Developer Coldrice Games has put Interstellaria up on Kickstarter now. So it's time to match any desires you have for the game with monetary support.

The $15,000 being sought after will pay for licenses, music, testers, and additional art. Unfortunately, though, none of the backer rewards offer mobile versions of the game.

Rest assured, Interstellaria is definitely going to launch on iOS and Android tablets at some point.
