Inkheart movie tie-in coming to the DS

Beginning the adaptations of Cornelia Funke's trilogy of novels comes the Inkheart movie starring Brandon Fraser, Paul Bettany and Andy Serkis, which is due at the box office at Christmas/early 2009.
To support the franchise comes JoWood's handheld adaptation for the Nintendo DS.
The book follows the adventures of a young girl whose bookbinder father has the power to bring characters from his stories to life. Their fantastical adventures take them all across Europe, and should provide more than enough inspiration for an action-packed DS adaptation.
The third part in the novel trilogy is due for release in October, creating a superbly cyclical promotion campaign which, along with the DS game and movie, should bring the Inkworld into full public view.
