Following yesterday's Professor Layton Royale announcement comes news of another DeNA mash-up Infinity Blade X (provisional title) – an adaption of Chair's slash-'em-up iOS outing infused with new social features.

Made in collaboration with Epic Games, Infinity Blade X will be the first Unreal Engine 3-developed game for DeNA's Mobage platform.

Although it will feature the same design and control scheme of the original Gold Award-winning iPhone adventure, it will also contain the ability to fight and collaborate with other players through the Mobage network.

Infinity Blade X will be a free-to-play title, with virtual goods that you can purchase for real cash - similar to Infinity Blade's current gold-flogging scheme.

Sharpen your sword, polish your shield, and expect its arrival sometime this autumn.
