Previously known as Project M, Hyper Front is a tactical shooter with 5 vs 5 modes that closely resembles the popular PC tactical shooter Valorant. Because of such similarity, many players called it a mobile clone of Valorant. It has been developed by a Chinese developing and publishing company, Netease Global. Hyper Front has smooth, edgy graphics and interfaces much like the PC counterpart. Any Valorant player will find it easy to migrate into a mobile gaming experience through Hyper Front.

Hyper Front closed beta announced

First of all, not everyone can join Hyper Front’s December closed beta in right away. The closed beta is currently only available in Thailand, Canada, Brazil, and Japan. The Hyper Front closed beta test begins on December 17 at 10:00 (GMT+8). You can install it from Google Play.

The developers have said that they will announce the beta testing end date on their Twitter handle beforehand. The beta is unavailable for iOS at the moment.

How to install Hyper Front

With the current regional limitations, global players will find it difficult to join. However, in Thailand, Canada, Brazil, and Japan, you can install the closed beta from Google Play.

Others will need to use a VPN and connect to Canada/Thailand/Brazilian/Japan. Then go to Google Play and create a new account. You can skip adding your mobile number and finish setting up your account. Search for Hyper Front and download it. Once the servers are open, you will need to have a VPN switched on.

If it still cannot be downloaded from Google Play, you will require an APK file from a third-party website/app store. To do that, download the apk, enable third-party installations, go to Settings> Safety and Privacy> Install apps to allow the APK installer to do its job. This method is a bit risky as it might make your phones vulnerable to malware, so do it at your own risk!
