AG.AL has claimed the Honor of Kings World Cup title at the 2025 Esports World Cup, edging out TT Global in a dramatic 4-3 finish. The Chinese club walks away with $750,000 and 1,000 Club Championship points, becoming the tenth exclusive winner at this year’s tournament series.
The path to the final was short but intense for AG.AL, who entered directly into the playoffs alongside fellow KPL powerhouse TT Global. Both squads tore through their brackets, AG.AL didn’t drop a single map against Alpha7 Esports or Twisted Minds, while TT Global only dropped one in total against Team Vitality and Nova Esports. Both were seen as heavy favourites.
TT Global started strong, surging to a 3-1 lead and placing themselves on championship point. But AG.AL held firm, clawing back two consecutive wins to tie the series and force a deciding game seven. The final map was as close as they come, but AG.AL pulled ahead in the final moments to secure the crown in one of the most riveting series seen at the Esports World Cup so far.
With the win, AG.AL now sits in second place in the overall Club Championship standings. Having already picked up points from earlier finishes in League of Legends and Free Fire, this result keeps their campaign for the top spot very much alive.
