Honor of Kings is all set to release its biggest update yet, and this one’s massive enough to rebrand the MOBA to Honor of Kings Plus. You can expect a slew of improvements and new content to release tomorrow, June 24th. From visual upgrades to battle system changes and a new customisable hero, HoK is evolving in many ways.
We kick things off with Flowborn, Honor of King Plus’s first-ever player-specific avatar. It’s your hero, and you can personalise everything from their appearance to attributes. The first variant, Marksman, releases tomorrow, while Tank and Mage will arrive in July. They’ll also be accompanied by a new mechanic that allows you to tweak combat performance mid-match.
A revamped Honor Pass launches with this update, too. The first edition is themed around the KWC and includes Nuwa – Syzygy Moonlight at level one and a free Alessio EWC skin at level 80. For the first month, everyone who updates gets the Elite Pass free, and Deluxe Pass holders get bonus tokens for future passes.
In addition, the new streamlined mission system will shift the grind toward actual gameplay as highlight moments, campaign completions, and more now feed directly into Honor Pass progress. Star rating changes now reflect your individual performance more accurately, even in a loss. Pull off a 1v9 or land a tower-destroying push solo, and you’ll still earn stars, or at the very least, won’t lose them.
