High Energy Heroes, the revived version of the recently shut down Apex Legends Mobile, officially announced

The recently shut down Apex Legends Mobile is set to re-release in China specifically under a new name; High Energy Heroes. This is a direct adaptation of the Apex Mobile experience that we got to play for only a short while, though some characters might look a little bit different now, and there is a new developer overlooking the project too.

Apex Legends Mobile was an extremely popular and highly anticipated mobile launch, but it ended service seemingly out of nowhere only a few months after release. The reasoning for this is still unknown, but a lot of players were rather let down as the game was quite a treat for a mobile battle royale.

Lucky for us, Photon Studio Group has taken on the difficult task of reviving the game. As I’m sure you can guess, a re-release of an ended game has to come with a few caveats. For one, that new developer. Respawn was working on the original Apex Mobile, and since they made the console and PC ports of Apex, we knew we could trust them to understand what makes Apex so special. It’s unclear for now if Photon can fill those big shoes, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Then, we also have the fact that each character will now have a new design. They’re still pretty recognizable, but their names and outfits will look different and fresh. This could be a bit of a letdown for fans of the lore that Apex had built up, but who knows, maybe Photon can build a new and equally interesting world.

Again, we’ll just have to wait and see for all of these potential issues that could arise. For now, you can optimistically stay tuned for more news on High Energy Heroes as it is revealed.
